วันที่ 18 ธันวาคม 2568 ดร.กาญจนา ขวัญเมือง รองเลขาธิการสำนักงานเศรษฐกิจการเกษตร (สศก.) พร้อมด้วยเจ้าหน้าที่กองเศรษฐกิจการเกษตรระหว่างประเทศ และสำนักวิจัยเศรษฐกิจการเกษตร ได้รับเชิญเข้าร่วมการสัมมนา Australia’s approach to farm-level GHG estimation ของ OECD ซึ่งดำเนินการร่วมกับรัฐบาลออสเตรเลีย ผ่านระบบการประชุมทางไกล
การประชุมฯ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อนำเสนอเกี่ยวกับแนวทางของออสเตรเลียในการสร้างมาตรฐานของการประเมินการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจก (Greenhouse Gas: GHG) ในระดับฟาร์มให้เป็นระบบเดียวกัน เพื่อลดความซ้ำซ้อนของวิธีการคำนวณ โดยรัฐบาลออสเตรเลียได้สนับสนุนทุนสำหรับการเปิดใช้งาน Common Calculation Engine โดยไม่มีค่าใช้จ่าย ผ่านระบบ Application Programming Interface (API) และ Open-source code ซึ่งจะมีการเผยแพร่ในช่วงกลางปี 2569 อีกทั้งยังสนับสนุนให้นำแนวทางฯ รวมกับแนวทางการคำนวณ GHG และเครื่องมือทางบัญชีต่าง ๆ เพื่อให้ผู้พัฒนาเครื่องมือสามารถนำไปใช้ได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพและเป็นไปในทิศทางเดียวกัน
On 18th December 2025, Dr. Kanjana Kwanmuang, Deputy Secretary-General of the Office of Agricultural Economics (OAE), along with officers from the International Agricultural Economics Division, and the Bureau of Agricultural Economic Research, was invited to participate in the OECD webinar on Australia’s API approach to farm-level GHG estimation under the OECD framework, held in collaboration with the Australian Government through the video conference.
The meeting aimed to present Australia’s approach for standardizing Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emission assessments at the farm level to reduce the fragmentation in calculation methods. To support this, the Australian Government is funding free access for all farm-level calculator providers to a common calculation engine, using an Application Programming Interface (API) or through open-source code starting in mid-2026. Furthermore, the government encourages the integration of this approach into various GHG calculators and accounting tools, enabling developers to implement them efficiently and consistently.
